Overview

The objective of the Programme is to equip participants with the Leadership Programme essential to new age business leaders. The major takeaway will be the ability to help corporate leaders operationalize their vision and mission.

Programme Objective: To equip participants with various Situational as well as Strategic Communication Skills to help them get ahead by achieving their objectives with various stake holders. The Programme will help individuals Master the Language of Leadership.

The Programme presents new paradigms of leading with communication strategy:
  • Manoeuvres that can act as game changers in complex business scenarios that requires critical thinking
  • Demonstrations of strategic frameworks of communications and their applications in domestic, international & diverse cases
  • Building Content Architecture - Structuring the Content for Specific Outcomes through Informative and Persuasive Speaking

Pedagogy: Modules will be interactive with a blend of lectures, case studies, video graphed presentations and personalized feedback. In addition, participants would be divided into teams of 5 members each to work collaboratively on cases assigned by the faculty. These presentations will also be videographed for evaluative purposes.

Eligibility

Working managers with an experience profile of 8 years or more, who are at least graduates (10+2+3) in any discipline with 50% marks.

Duration & Class Schedule

6 Months with 2 Campus Visits totaling upto 6 days (3 beginning + 3 concluding) Classes: Saturday 9.00 am – 12.00 noon

Delivery

The Programme is delivered through a live 2 way interactive HD VC platform directly on your laptop /desktop.

Programme Structure

Participants will work in small teams and undertake organization based specialized or comprehensive projects of their choice guided /mentored by IIMC faculty.

  • Argumentation / Persuasion: Using the nudge factor from the domain of behavioural economics as communication converters.
  • Leadership Narratives – Public Speaking: Repositioning oration as a leadership skill that elicits the targeted action in low interest audience scenarios.
  • Communication Analytics: Adopting a neo-classical approach in analysing textual and visual data in the larger pool of data analytics.
  • Leaders as Conflict Processors: Conflict Resolution and Negotiation:
  • Cross-Cultural Business Communication: Decoding cultural dimensions impacting business transactions to manage cross-cultural diversity in trans-national organizations.
  • Business Plan Communication: Comprising the pitch for recommendations, proposals and business messages with a persuasive push.
  • Oratory Evaluations: The faculty would evaluate and offer personalized commentaries on the individual oratory performance and videographed for self-audit.
  • Evaluations on Business Case Presentations: Group Communication Presentation
